The County Climbing Company
Ltd was formed in September 2006 by Andrew Earl and John Earl. Based in
Newcastle it is the sole importer into the UK of E9 clothes and Snap bouldering
mats and accessories.

Us:
John is a retired Chartered
Quantity Surveyor who has been climbing in Northumberland and beyond since
he was fifteen. He has edited both Route and Bouldering guides to Northumberland
and was joint author of the 1987 FRCC guide to the Eastern Crags. He has
pioneered many new routes in Northumberland, The Lakes and Scotland. But
perhaps his main claim to fame was introducing his son Andrew to climbing.
Andrew is a professional
climber and climbing coach who works closely with a number of sponsors
(Scarpa, E9, Snap, Camp, and Rockworks) in the development and marketing
of their products. He is three times British Bouldering Champion and has
competed successfully in World and European competitions, winning the
2007 bouldering World Cup in Reunion, as well as coaching both the British
junior and senior teams. He is responsible for many of the hard problems
and routes put up in Northumberland over the last 12 years and has also
climbed extensively throughout the UK and Europe, repeating many of the
hardest problems.
